Have you ever looked at a picture on Pinterest or in Architecture Digest and thought, "My house never looks that pulled together?" While some of those homes have million dollar budgets and a whole team of designers, one of the easiest elements to incorporate into your home is greenery and florals. Go look back at all those inspiration pictures and I guarantee that they use this simple trick to bring the room to life.

How to decorate with greenery

This step could be as simple as cutting a branch from a Nandina in your yard or buying some weekly florals from your local grocer. I personally love the floral options from Trader Joes as they are affordable and typically have a large variety.

Don't just stop at buying greens, invest in interesting vases and pots as well! I'm always on the hunt for an interesting vase whether I'm at an antique shop or CB2.

If you don't have much of a green thumb, you might be wondering how to add greenery to your home? Artificial plants have come such a long way and can still add a pop of life to your space. Just make sure the silks look real for the plant variant and have the right amount of faux foliage (many faux fiddle leaf figs have too many leaves to look real in my opinion).

Greenery for home decor is one of the best tricks I know. Give it a try and see the difference it makes!
